Andromeda Galaxy Framed Print
Our nearest neighbor, the Andromeda Galaxy, is a gorgeous barred spiral galaxy. From our perspective here on Earth it appears roughly 6 times larger than the moon end to end. This photo is a combination of broadband and narrowband data. The Andromeda Galaxy has a lot of faint Hydrogen Alpha nearby which has been included in the red channel. The base image was done in broadband LRGB with narrowband HSO added on top.
